Obituary of Cora Frances Miller

Cora F. Miller, Unadilla, NY Cora F. Miller 86 of Unadilla and formerly of Altmar, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at AO Fox Nursing Facility in Oneonta. She was born December 10, 1929, daughter of the late Fay A. and Helen M. (Mercer) Lamb in South Hamilton, NY where she was raised with her 12 brothers and sisters. Cora married Ernest Miller on July 4, 1977 in NYC. Together they ran Fulton Typewriter store and enjoyed supporting Ernie in his band before he predeceased her. She attended Pine Meadows Church and lived on Lorton Lake in Altmar, NY for 30 years prior to moving in with her sister in Unadilla. Cora attended the Sidney United Methodist Church for the past five years. She is survived by: Daughter – Kim Blanding Landers and her husband Michael, TN 2 Grandchildren – Amy Cenicola and Kiel Landers 3 Great Grandchildren – Kyliee and Hudson Landers and Ryleigh Cenicola 5 siblings - Pauline Chabot, Unadilla, Helen Giucastro, CT, Audrey Freeman, Baldwinsville, NY, Bruce Lamb, Bradford, NY, Dale Lamb, Red Creek, NY Several nieces, nephews and cousins Cora was also predeceased by her son, Craig Blanding and her siblings, Anna Larkin, Elizabeth Prenis, John Lamb, Irene Barnes, Charles Lamb, Joan Lamb and Arlene Girard. Cora's family would like to thank the staff of AO Fox Hospital and Nursing Facility for the excellent care and compassion Especially Dr. Xanthaky, Dr. Budine, Dr. Falco, Dr. Egal and Dr. Friedell for their expertise. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Adnah Cemetery in Fulton, NY In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church of Sidney 12 Liberty St. Sidney, NY 13838.
