Diane M. Light
Sidney—Diane M. Light, 62, of Sidney, passed away on October 1, 2016. She was born on May 27, 1954 in Sidney, daughter of Nelson and Phyllis (Ireland) Ruling.
She was a longtime employee of Sidney Central School District, working in the cafeteria. Diane enjoyed cooking, gardening and crafts. She was married to Glenn Light, who predeceased her in December 2010.
Diane is survived by: her two children, Kathy and Jason Light; her mother, Phyllis Ruling; sister, Dawn McCaslin; brother, Doug Ruling; sister, Doneta Ruling; brother, Kenneth Ellis; her four dogs, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband, Glenn, she was predeceased by her father, Nelson Ruling.
Graveside services in West Bainbridge Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
