Barbara Patrick Roff
Masonville—Barbara Patrick Roff went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in the comfort of her home. She was born on November 28, 1936, daughter of the late Leroy and Agnes (Oliver) Patrick in Sidney Center, NY.
Barb was a 30 year employee of Mead Westvaco until her retirement. She enjoyed quilting and made many quilts, usually as gifts for others. Family, friends and church were the most important things in Barb's life.
She is survived by: her husband of 45 years, Steven Roff; four children: Pamela Perry, Terry Demott (husband, Jerry), Cheryl Wood and Jeffrey Wood (wife, Vera). She was a proud grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 17. She is also survived by her brother, Frederick Patrick; sister, Margaret Landers and brothers-in-law, Ernest Riesen and Warren Doolittle, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Betty Riesen and Ruth Doolittle, sister-in-law, Dawn Patrick and brother-in-law, Robert Landers.
Knowing her stay here on earth was ending; Barb wanted to thank everyone for their prayers, love and support.
Friends are invited to call from 6:00-9:00pm on Friday, September 30, 2016 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 1st at the Sidney United Methodist Church, 12 Liberty St. Sidney. Burial will take place in Ouleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin at 2:00pm Saturday.
Barb had received a gift of life in the form of a liver transplant that gave her 13 years more of life; in her memory please consider signing up to be an organ donor. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Sidney United Methodist Church-Flower Fund, 12 Liberty St. Sidney, NY 13838 or to Catskill Area Hospice & Palliative Care, 1 Birchwood Dr. Oneonta, NY 13820.
