Thomas P. Lakin, Sidney
Thomas P. Lakin 72 of Sidney passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Tri-town Regional Hospital in Sidney. He was born with his twin sister, Priscilla on January 14, 1944 to the late Harry and Veronica (Dominger) Lakin. They were the first set of twins born in The Hospital in Sidney. Tom graduated from Walton Central School in 1964. He married Rae Ann Bound in 1967 in Walton and He worked in the experimental department at the Amphenol Corp. in Sidney for 48 years, retiring in 2013. Tom was also a union steward for many years.
Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, but he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived his devoted wife, Rae Ann, Sidney

Friends may call Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 4-7 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, August 10, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 15 Liberty St. Sidney with Fr. Bernard Osei Ampong officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney.
