George William Lucietto Sidney, NY George William Lucietto, 86 of Sidney, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2009 at A.O. Fox Hospital, Oneonta, surrounded by his family. George was the oldest of five children, born on July 27, 1923 to the late George and Hester (Keasted) Lucietto in Paterson, NJ. George served in the US Army for a short time during World War II, and later with the Merchant Marines. On November 3, 1960, George married Hester Mouw in Elkton, MD. George was employed by Preakness Hospital in Wayne, NJ as a boiler engineer until 1993. George loved his family and he will be greatly missed. George is survived by: Loving wife of 49 years, Hester Lucietto Sidney Four children: Robin and Ken Gass Sidney Linda and Tom Haill Missouri Stephen and Carol Lucietto South Carolina George Lucietto Florida Many Grandchildren, including: Laura Gass, Danielle Kandalapis, Claire Lucietto, Capt. Tracy Bowman (USAF), Cheryl Mulkey, Sean Lucietto and Wendy Lucietto. 10 great grandchildren As well as many nieces, nephews and friends. George was predeceased by his four younger sisters: Ruth Burns Klammer, Alice Davis, Evelyn Terhune and Doris Barone. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
