Dear Mike, We are so sorry to hear about Nancy. I'll always remember her working with the animals at your place on the hill. She was so happy up there. Nancy was a dear friend we spent many hours together in the late 50s and early 60s, I remember the walks and picnics in the woods . She was very kind and visited my home and family often in those years So many good memories!

It is said that cousins are your first friends. Even though she lived in Fl we spent every summer together. We rode horses, went swimming, tubing down the river and exploring. So many wonderful memories. I am sure you are very busy reuniting with your many beloved animals. I love you Nancy ❤️

I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I knew Nancy very well as president of DVHS. When Nancy was manager of DVHS she was a delight to know and so dedicated to the animals. She had a very special love of animals and people. The animals have lost a great friend and a caring person. Julie Byrnes Last president of the DVHS.

As a child, I always loved going with Mom to visit Nancy. The cats and dogs kept me entertained every visit! She always made Mom laugh! I remember admiring her flower beds around the house. Visiting her animal sanctuaries was always fun, too. I look back with great fondness at the joy Nancy brought to our lives. I can hear the laughter of Mom, Sue, Jean, and Nancy! Sending prayers for peace to Mike, Chris, and Michael.
