Leslie Decker Mt. Upton, NY Leslie Decker, 93 of Mt. Upton passed away Thursday evening, May 6, 2009 at her home. Leslie was born on August 13, 1915, daughter of the late Hiram E. and Ruby (Burk) Lord in Nineveh, NY. On April 4, 1936, she married Byron C. Decker in Masonville. He predeceased her on November 18, 1976. Leslie worked in maintenance at Amphenol Corp. for 20 years until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of the Mt. Upton Fire Department Auxiliary. Leslie is survived by: 4 sons: Byron and Donna Decker Felton, Delaware Richard and Dietta Decker Kerhonsen, Ohio Charles and Karen Decker Mt. Upton James and Christine Decker Mt. Upton 1 daughter: Ruth and Wayne Cargill Parksville, NY Son-in-law: Gene Macumber Mt. Upton Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren As well as numerous nieces and nephews Leslie was predeceased by two daughters, Mary Macumber in April 1998, and Mildred Cowan in May 2008, as well as six brothers and sisters. Friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from 12noon-2:00pm at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral chapel. Burial will take place in Plains Cemetery, Nineveh, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Leslie's name may be directed to either Catskill Area Hospice & Palliative Care 1 Birchwood Drive Oneonta, NY 13820, or the Mt. Upton Fire Department P.O. Box 197 Mt. Upton, NY 13809. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family online at www.landersfh.com. Arrangements under the direction of C.H.
