Joyce was born on January 30, 1945, the daughter of Wilma Parsons and William Foster. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and earned a degree from the State University of New York @ Cobleskill in nutrition and dietetics. Joyce was also a successful real estate broker for many years in the Sidney Tri Town Area as well as Ephrata, Pennsylvania. She managed housing project sales as a developer. One of Joyce's lifelong passions was being an antique collector and dealer. She greatly enjoyed hunting for her favorite antiques and learning the history behind them. Joyce loved her dogs dearly and had a heart for all animals. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed competition, especially board games. However, she did not love it if anyone beat her at these games. Joyce had a sweet tooth, with her favorite beverage being chocolate milkshakes and favorite food being Reese's Cups. When she was not eating sugary goodness, she was often seen eating her other favorites, a cheeseburger with a tall glass of milk. Joyce is best known for being a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is beloved and will be remembered for caring deeply and always bringing fun and a touch of innocent mischief to every gathering.
