Obituary of Karl L. Keuhn

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karl L Keuhn, 87, of Guilford, NY, who passed away on September 25, 2023, leaving family and friends to mourn. As the only child of Arthur & Rose Keuhn, Karl was born on January 1, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout his youth he lived in Ozone Park. He lived in Cannonsville as a teenager. He served in the Army from 1957-1961 overseas. He married Barbara Gail Mills, June 9, 1967. He was employed as a Union carpenter for 37 years. He worked for Benedict's corporation, in Norwich NY, for 21 years as a transportation specialist. They moved to Guilford, NY in 1971, where he purchased 40 acres. At a young age he developed a love of the outdoors. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family camping vacations. He has collected stamps since he was 13 which he continued upon retiring. He was predeceased by his parents: Arthur & Rose. He is survived by: his wife, Barbara Gail Keuhn. His children: John Keuhn (June), of Waverly, Terry Keuhn of Gilbertsville, Kathy Richards (Aaron) of Sterling, VA, Ronald Keuhn (Alethea) of Bainbridge. His grandchildren: Kayden Keuhn, Jarred Keuhn, Krystinna Miller (Bill), Morgan Keuhn, Kyle Keuhn, Cole Keuhn, and extended family Isaac Maxson and Alaina Maxson. A funeral service for Karl L Keuhn will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00am. Calling hours will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 at CH Landers Funeral Home, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY.
