Obituary of Jason R. Cunningham

Jason Robert Cunningham Masonville—Jason Robert Cunningham, 39, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at A.O. Fox Hospital from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Jason was born on October 11, 1977, son of Sidney A. and JoAnn L. (Monroe) Cunningham in Sidney. He graduated from Sidney Central School with the Class of 1997 and worked as a logger. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, working outdoors, and loved to rock out to loud music. He would also talk to anyone that would listen. On September 1, 2006, he was married to Jessica Luyster in Oxford. Jason is survived by: his wife, Jessica and children Montanya and Kordel, whom he adored; his parents, Sidney and JoAnn Cunningham of Masonville; siblings: Mark Cunningham of Carmel, Utah, Laura and Harry Kelly of Sidney, Sarah and Les VanValkenburgh of Masonville, JoAnn and Paul Miller, Jr. of Masonville and Daniel and Danielle Cunningham of Masonville.; nieces: Jamie, Sammie, Emilie, Haylie, Sydnie and Kimberly; nephews: Brandon, Ethan, Allen, Ben, Jeffrey and Kyle; grand-nephew, Christopher; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm at the funeral chapel with Fr. Bernard Osei Ampong, of Sacred Heart Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Masonville Cemetery, Masonville. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
