Charles M. Decker Mt. Upton—Charles M. Decker, 67, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City. He was born on September 8, 1949 in Bainbridge, NY, the son of the late Byron and Leslie Decker. Charles retired from Dept. 48 at Amphenol Corp. in Sidney. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Macumber) Decker of Mt. Upton; children: Kimberly (James) Naylor of NC, Christopher (Jessica) Decker of Sidney and Jeremy (Andrea) Decker of Sidney; six grandchildren: Jessica, Corbin, Emalee, Emily, Jacob and Sophie; two great-grandchildren, Myles and Mason; and siblings: Skip (Donna) Decker of Norwich, Dick (DeEtta) Decker of Conneaut, OH, and Rudy (Wayne) Cargill of Liberty, NY. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Macumber and Millie Cowan, and brother, James Decker. Friends are invited to call from 2:00-5:00pm on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. Burial will take place at a later date in Maplewood Cemetery, Mt. Upton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.landersfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, Sidney.
