Obituary of Karen Goebeler

Karen Goebeler Unadilla, NY Our beloved Karen Goebeler, of Unadilla, passed peacefully on December 14, 2016 after a short illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 36+ yrs, Jon; her loving sons Jeff and Timothy; her parents, Helen and Richard Dickson, Sidney NY; her mother-in-law, Shirley Goebeler; sister, Valerie Halbert; brothers: Bill, Rich, and Rob (Roseann) Dickson; Brothers-in-law Karl and Jim (Laurie) Goebeler; several nephews and nieces and great nieces and nephews. Karen was a wonderful wife, loving mom, daughter, sister, and aunt. She loved her cats, birds, flowers, wine, and laughter. She had a great love for family and friends; she was the life of the party! Always one to bring the smiles and laughter. In recent years she enjoyed traveling with her husband. She will be greatly missed! Friends are invited to call from 3:00-5:00pm on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 19th at the funeral chapel with Fr. Bernard Osei Ampong, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, officiating.
