Russell John Curry Bainbridge, NY Russell John Curry, 82, of Bainbridge, passed away on June 21, 2016, in Oneonta, NY. Russell was born in Burlington Flats, New York to Floyd and Rosa Curry on March 24, 1934. He worked at Borden's in Bainbridge for 47 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching all sporting events. Russell is survived by his children: Delene Cummins of Dickson City, PA; Corinne Braswell of Martinez, GA; Danette Kirk of Goose Creek, SC; Renette Carr of Farmville, VA and Michael Curry of Lenhartsville, PA; his grandchildren: Rebecca Parks, Allison Davidson, Tammy Jo Higley, Jeremy Carr, Aimee Cummins, Dixie Lee Kirk, Ryan Kirk, Michael Curry, Jr., and Matthew Curry; and great-grandchildren: Bailey, Kendall, and Heath Parks, Brielle Layman, and Mackenzie Davidson, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Kirkland Curry, his brother Francis Curry, his sister-in-law Virginia Curry, and his grandson, Joshua Carr. At Russell's request, a private family burial will be held at St. Matthew's Cemetery in Unadilla, New York. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family wishes to express its love and gratitude to Russell's niece, Emma McMullen and her family, for all the love and support given to Russell over many, many years; a debt that can never be repaid.
