Obituary of Vivian Finch

Vivian Mae (Vicky) Finch Unadilla, NY Vivian (Vicky) Finch, 88 years old of Unadilla, passed away June 14, 2016. She was born on August 8, 1927 in Johnson City, the daughter of the late Robert and Ida (Littlebrandt) Ross. She was predeceased by her husband, Bert Finch, and an infant brother. Vicky is survived by her daughter, Gale (Charles) Goodrich of Walton; 2 sons: Bert (Sally Whallon) Finch of Bainbridge and Larry (Kim Williams) Finch of Mt. Upton; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lottie Howland of Oneonta; and several nieces and nephews. Vicky had a beauty shop in her home for over 40 years in Sidney. She was the Junior Choir director at the Sidney Center Methodist Church and the Franklin Methodist Church in the early to late 1950s. Vicky enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren in their sporting events. She always had the holidays celebrated at her home so all the family would be together. Vivian will be remembered as a warm and loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Burial will be private in the Ouleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin.
