Justin James Iorio of Masonville, New York was born on July 3rd, 1979, in Ridgewood, New Jersey and passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 19th, 2026 at the age of 47.

A graduate of Minisink Valley High School and The Battalion Commander of the Army JROTC Program for the Class of 1997, he completed basic training in Fort Knox, Kentucky and attended Georgia Military College on a full scholarship. Justin worked as a Traveling Food Service Director for Trinity Services Group in affiliation with The New York State Department of Corrections and County Sheriff Associations.

Justin's first love was music. He took guitar lessons from a young age and was a regular on the Orange County, New York punk music scene. He continued to record and produce music and collect guitars in his spare time.

He is survived by his cat named Bruce, his parents Joseph and Donna Iorio of Norwich, NY, sister Eyde of Culpeper, VA, and brother Joseph of Downsville, NY. He is also loved and remembered by his aunts, uncles, and cousins both in the US and abroad in Europe.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Juan and Joan Rivera, his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Edith Iorio, his uncle Johnny (Juan) Rivera, his aunt Debbie (Deborah) McDonnell and Aunt Janice (Iorio) Stern.

Justin's Celebration of Life will be held at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY on Monday, 8/31/2026. Visiting hours will be from 12 noon to 3 pm with a service to begin at 3:00pm.
