Elizabeth Marie Walter, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2026 in Oneonta, New York at the age of 82. A woman full of light and joy and a proud servant of the Lord.

Born June 5 1944 in Herminie, Pennsylvania to the late Anne Marie Strojan and Ralph Leonard Elizabeth was raised alongside her sister Kathy. She went on to marry her loving husband Ronald Walter, and later had two beloved Daughters, Amy (David) Miller, Lorrie (Thomas) Ford.

Elizabeth and Ronald later moved to Sidney, New York, to be with their daughter (Lorrie) and watch their granddaughter grow up.

Throughout Elizabeth's hardships, she continued to sing and dance her way through life. John Denver and Elvis Presley's biggest fan, her love for music highlighted her contagious joy and spread laughter through all that knew her.

Elizabeth is survived through her sister, Kathy (Robert) Oakes, daughters Amy (David) Miller, Lorrie (Thomas) Ford, her grandchildren, Zachary Law, David Sherman, Caleb Heinz, and Elizabeth Ford. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ronald Walter, and her son-in-law David Miller.

Though deeply missed, Elizabeth's large personality and laugh are engraved on each loved one's heart, carving a memory of love and joy that she has left forever.
