It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claire Swislosky, who passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026 at the age of 75.

Claire was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, whose kindness, strength, and generous heart touched everyone who knew her. She was known for her compassion, unwavering love for her family and her ability to make others feel welcome. Her warmth, wisdom and gentle spirit will be remembered always.

Claire found joy and happiness in spending time with her family and friends creating memories that will last a lifetime through her laughter, advice, caring nature and singing. She left an everlasting impact on many lives.

Though Claire is no longer with us her love, compassion and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

Claire is survived by her spouse, Bob Swislosky; children: Bob (Krista) Swislosky, Ronald (Yvonne) Swislosky and Richard Swislosky; grandchildren: Thomas (Kelsey), Elizabeth (Jason), Brandon (Elizabeth), Cailynn (Chris), Victoria (Chris), Jarred (Sarah), Zachery, Gavin and Grayson; great-grandchildren: Riley, Joseph, Autumn, Koda and Lily; siblings: MaryEllen (Joe) Rauchbauer and Joanne (Sam) Kedala; sister-in-law: Jane Artis and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ethel Artis, Brother Clifford (Butch) Artis and her sister Kathleen Gallager.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Claire's life at C.H. Landers Funeral Home in Sidney, NY, with a visitation on Monday July 27th from 5-7pm. A service will be conducted by Father Ben on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
