Chet proudly served his country as a U.S. Army veteran. He was a licensed CDL driver and spent the last 20 years working for Webster Paving in the Oneonta, New York.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at C.H. Landers Funeral Home, 21 Main Street, Sidney, New York. A Celebration of Life will follow at Green's Long River Inn in Unadilla, New York.

Chet loved the freedom of the open road. He was taken from us far too soon, but his spirit will ride on forever.

Ride anywhere you want to now. May the wind always be at your back, and the road rise up to meet you. Fly high, brother.
