Louis "Tiny" Paveglio

On June 13, 2026, Louis "Tiny" Paveglio took his last earthly breath with his loving wife by his side.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 31 years, Maureen Paveglio; his four children, Lucas (Mariah), Curtis (Liz), Kaylyn, and CJ (Brittany); and his nine grandchildren, Skylar, Ryland, Roselyn, Braxton, Thoran, McKenzie, Elena, Jackson, and Morgan.

He is also survived by his sister, Karen Kisselstein; sister-in-law, Carole Paveglio; brother-in-law, Greg Peck (Carolyn); sister-in-law, Kaye Silvestri (Sante); brother-in-law, Ed Peck (Theresa); sister-in-law, Terry Peck; and his closest friends, Chico and Kathy Lent, Howard and Theresa Finch, Jeff McCormack, Ralph Babcock, and Charlie Teelon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Paveglio and Greta Gray Cutting; his stepfather, Donald Cutting; his brother, John Paveglio; his brothers-in-law, Marlin Kisselstein and Lewis Peck; and his dear friend, Bill Howes.

Tiny was a man larger than life who left a mark on every person he met. The void he leaves behind is immeasurable. He loved his family deeply and spent his life caring for those he loved.

Some of his fondest memories included growing up in Masonville, driving tractor-trailers, building and running his own businesses, riding motorcycles, spending time on the river in Alex Bay, taking bike trips with Chico, enjoying Saturday morning phone calls with Howard, and sharing late-night conversations with Jeff and Ralph.

Over the last year, Tiny faced ALS with a strength that could only be described as extraordinary. Although the disease changed many things, it never changed who he was: a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His faith became a source of comfort and courage, carrying him through the hardest days and reminding those around him of the power of perseverance. Tiny leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family. While our hearts are broken by his loss, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace and whole again. As he often showed through his life and faith, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." — Philippians 4:13.
