Joyce M. Terry (90), of Sidney Center, New York passed away on May 27, 2026 at Oak Hill Manor. Joyce was born on August 27, 1935 in Sidney Center, New York to Walton H Morenus and Ada E (Hull) Morenus. Joyce attended elementary school at the one room schoolhouse on the Sidney Center to Walton road. She attended high school in Sidney, New York graduating in 1953. Joyce worked for many years as a cook at the original K-Mart in Sidney and then worked in the Little Caesar restaurant in the new store.

She is survived by her grandchildren; Audrey and Thomas Terry of Sidney Center, New York, Bonnie Terry of Harpursville, New York, Ashley Hoag-Irwin, Jillian Loeffler, Charles Hoag and Angela Rivera of Livingston Manor, New York. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters Deborah Lopez and Patricia Hoag and son Daniel Terry. She was also predeceased by her siblings Katherine (Millie) Patrick, Ruth Morenus, Ralph (Ike) Morenus, Dorothy St John, Geneva ( Jean) Sanford (Gossoo), Beatrice (Bea) Patterson and George (Frank) Morenus.

Memorial donations may be made to the Delaware Valley SPCA or Delaware Opportunities Inc., 35430 State Highway 10, Hamden, NY 13782.

Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery on June 27, 2026 at 11:00am. There will be a brief graveside service for family and friends. CH Landers Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
