Beverly J. Rowe Obituary

Beverly Jean Rowe, 74, of Gilbertsville passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 after a brief illness.


She was born June 4, 1951 to Bernace and Virginia (Roe) Spencer. She grew up in Rockdale with her siblings Floyd, Evelyn, and Gary.


In 1995 she married the love of her life, Sam Rowe, after "the longest engagement ever."


For 51 years she made a home, raised 5 children, and lived an amazing life in Gilbertsville surrounded by family and friends.


After she retired in 2015, she and Sam did a lot of camping and a little gambling.


She was predeceased by her husband Sam, her son Randy, her parents, and brother Floyd Spencer.


Surviving are her children Dwayne Lockwood, Lorraine (John) Brooks, Barry Rowe, Mike Rowe, and Lori (Chris) Corna; her siblings: Gary Spencer and Evelyn (Mel) Sutton; Grandchildren: Samantha (Don) Crossman, Sabrina Brooks, Regina (Joe) Baker, Trina (Mike) Pearl, TJ (Tonia) Turner, Dan Rowe, Jessica Rowe, Becky Rowe, Brandon Corna, Justin Corna, Madison Lockwood, Hunter Lockwood, Kelsey Lockwood, many sisters and brothers-in-law, close friends Ed and Trish Gillette, and her girl Cricket.


There will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
