Inda L. Beers, age 82, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, in Norwich, New York. Born on June 12, 1943, in Walton, she was the daughter of Frances Grotevant and Carl Beardslee. She later married the love of her life, Victor Beers, with whom she shared many years of love and family.

Inda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her brother, Bert (Judy) Beardslee; her beloved sons, Kevin (Kirstie) Beers and Roger (Melinda) Beers; and her cherished grandchildren, Justin (Barb) Beers, Kevin Beers Jr., Scott Misner Jr., Jessica (Oudou) Beckel, Angela (Codi) Breslau, Jackie (Dillion) Tessier, Walter Beers, and Roger Beers Jr., along with many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews who brought her endless joy.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Victor Beers; her sister, Margaret Cobane; and her brothers, Bob Beardslee, Doug Beardslee, and Fred Beardslee.

Inda found her greatest happiness in spending time with her family. Whether it was a simple visit or a lively family gathering, she treasured every moment. She was known for her joyful spirit, her kind heart, and the unmistakable twinkle in her eye that could light up a room. Always willing to help others, she gave her love freely and selflessly to everyone around her. Her loyal dog companion, Zoey, was always by her side and held a special place in her heart.

Inda's life was a reflection of love, compassion, and quiet strength. Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in all who knew her. We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

A celebration of Inda's life will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the National Kidney Foundation in memory of Inda.
