Sandra Joan Allen, age 85, of Sidney, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22 at the UHS Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton, NY.
Sandy was born September 13, 1940 to Vern and Catherine (Richmond) Davis (both deceased). She married John R Allen February 15, 1963.
Sandy was predeceased by her husband John R Allen, her parents, and her youngest daughter, Suzanne M Lehtonen. She is survived by her children Jackie (John) Lingner, Jeffrey Allen, and Randy ( Lyra) Allen. Grandchildren Billy (Nicole) Rose, Tom ( Megan) Rose, Matt ( Ericka) Rose, Cierra Allen, Kortnee (Larry) Wheeler, Alivia Allen. She is also survived by several great children, her sisters Diane Baker and Terry Bowdren, and brother, William Kirkland, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog April.
The family wishes to thank the entire exceptional staff at UHS Delaware Valley Hospital for the care they provided her over the last several weeks.
At Sandy's request, there will be no services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
