Judy (Northop) Jones

September 7, 1947- March 13, 2026

Judy passed away peacefully March 13, 2026 at Wilson Hospital.

She is survived by: her children Kimberly and Gary Beardsley of South New Berlin NY, Kelly and Jeff Crandall of Oxford NY; her stepson David Jones and Kim Holden of Trout Creek NY, and an adopted son Don Holden and Ann of Norwich NY. Her grandchildren Zana Decker (Timothy French, Jr.) and Nicole (Brandyn) Law of Mt. Upton NY and Miranda Light and Carmine Ward of Norwich NY. Great grandchildren Mason Shugars, Ella Townsend and Emberlee Law. She is also survived by her brother Norm and Liz Northrop of Unadilla NY, Her sisters Elizabeth Cobb of New Milford P.A, Peggy and Bob Beardsley of VA. And many nieces and Nephews. She Is also survived by her best friend Hope Halaquist of Unadilla NY and many others she was like a mom to.

She was predeceased by her Father Charles Northrop, Mother Christina Northrop, Sister Linda Northrop, And Grandson Andrew Jones.

Judy loved family time. She loved the get togethers of the reunions, Birthdays, Holidays, Barbeques, or just plain lunch with family and friends. She loved crocheting blankets for family and friends. And she loved doing puzzles with her grandkids and with her friend Hope when spending time with her. She loved it when the DJ's came to the get togethers so thank you to James Walling and Joseph Schreier Sr. for making those memories more fun. Can't forget the fur babies, she loved all of hers and ours.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 29th from 1-4pm at the Sidney American Legion Post 183, 22 Union St. Sidney NY 13838.
