Andrea Lynn Bennett Obituary

Andrea Lynn Bennett passed away peacefully on Monday December 1st at her home with her granddaughter by her side.

She was born in Sidney N.Y. to James Gordon Bennett and Roberta May Laraway on May 24th, 1949. Her Family later moved to Canajoharie N.Y., then to Hadley N.Y. eventually moving back to Sidney, where she graduated school. She then went to Albany Business School where she earned an associate's degree in accounting, landing her a job with Sidney Federal Credit Union, later working for Primo Builders and eventually working for Amphenol, where she finally retired after 30 + years.

Her greatest achievements and love were her family, whom she wasn't just a sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother too, but was also a caretaker, a defender, miracle worker and a boss. As she played many roles in her life, she was also a private person but a great friend to many as well.

Andrea had a huge heart, was fiercely independent and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who asked her and donated to many charities.

She was predeceased by her parents James G. Bennett and Roberta M. Bennett and her ex-husband, Frank E. Mazzarella.

She is survived by her daughters, Brooke M. Mazzarella and April L. Mazzarella-Berg (Rob Dickerson); her brother, David L. Bennett and niece Mouse (Devon) Bennett and husband Patrick Bourque; granddaughters: Alyssa M. Mance (Anthony Mister), Casey-Lynne Mazzarella (Johanna Iversen) and Elizabeth Mazzarella; and great-grandchildren Ariella, Amara and Ayvra Mister.

Friends are invited to call from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Memorial donations in her memory may be directed to Helios Care, 297 River St. Service Road, Suite 1, Oneonta, NY 13820.
