Kerry Anne (Doyle) Holley
November 18, 1964 – November 5, 2025
Age 60, of Franklin, New York, passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center on November 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. She was two weeks shy of her 61st birthday.
Kerry was born on Long Island, New York, on November 18, 1964, the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret (McHugh) Doyle. A proud graduate of the Half Hollow Hills School District on Long Island, Kerry went on to attend Hartwick College in Oneonta, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theatre Arts.
Kerry built a rewarding career as a dedicated customer service professional in many different fields, where she was known for her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Her coworkers and clients alike appreciated her professionalism and the genuine care she brought to every interaction.
On August 25, 2007, Kerry married the love of her life, Todd A. Holley. Their life together was built on love, shared laughter, and mutual respect. A partnership rooted in the simple joys of everyday life, Kerry and Todd shared a deep connection—one that also extended to their beloved animals. Kerry was an avid animal lover, especially fond of her kitties, Ghost, Tank, and Oscar. She had a special place in her heart for all animals, and their pets were a central part of her family.
Kerry's greatest passion was cooking. She found immense fulfillment in creating delicious meals for her family and friends, and her kitchen was truly the heart of her home. Her cooking was not just about the food—it was an expression of love and care. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday, a time when her home was filled with warmth, delicious aromas, and the laughter of loved ones gathered together. Kerry and Todd also shared a love of gardening, particularly their large vegetable garden, which they tended together each summer, often sharing their harvest with neighbors and friends.
In addition to her husband, Kerry is survived by her sister, Norah Doyle; brother-in-law Todd Leppert; sister-in-law Marie (Dan) Clink; cousins Janice (Raymond) Gilmartin and Margaret (Patrick) Sammon; and her cherished kitties, Ghost, Oscar, and Tank, along with several other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Margaret Doyle; maternal grandmother, Ellen McHugh; her aunt and uncle Margaret (Margie) and John McHugh, and beloved kitties Beek, Frito and Gertie.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2026 to honor Kerry's beautiful spirit and the love she gave to all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society, Delhi, NY, to establish a memorial fund in recognition of her lifelong love for animals.
Kerry's legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched - her warmth, generosity, and love will be remembered and cherished always.
