Viola L. Marks, 95, of Unadilla, passed away September 27, 2025, at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton.

She was born October 3, 1929, daughter of the late Earle and Kathryn (Stewart) Gossoo in Pine Hill, NY

Viola married Norman O. Marks on August 8, 1953, in the Sidney United Methodist Church. He predeceased her on June 26, 2013.

She was employed as a systems analyst for the Bendix Corp. in Sidney when she retired in 1982.

Viola is survived by – Bridget and Brett Fisk; special friends – Deb and Jerry Oliverio, Patti Decker, and Patty and Merritt St. John; niece, Kathryn Gossoo Fey and nephew, Joe Gossoo.

In addition to her parents and husband, Norm, Vi was predeceased by two brothers, Rodney and James.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Sidney Center on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 1:00pm with Rev. Brandilynne Craver, pastor of the Sidney United Methodist Church, officiating.
