Carl R. Ferrara, Jr., 80, of Unadilla, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 27, 2025 with his best friend and caregiver, Lillian Gavin, by his side.

Carl was born on December 2, 1944, son of the late Carl, Sr. and Doris (Johnston) Ferrara in Sidney, NY. Alongside his brothers, John, Jerry and Roscoe, Carl grew up in Sidney, graduating with the Class of 1963. Following graduation, Carl enlisted in the US Navy serving four years until his honorable discharge in July 1967. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Coventry Leasing.

In addition to his parents, Carl was predeceased by his brother, Roscoe.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 3, 2025 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY 13838. Burial with military honors will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney.
