Helen P. Woods, 84, was born in the town of Hancock, NY in 1941 to Carl and Doris Hadley. Helen had a bright personality and was a dedicated worker who retired from Amphenol in 2006 after 35 years of service. On her free time she enjoyed watching the Yankees or any sports for that matter, playing Bingo at many local locations including the fire houses and Elks, and spending time with her family.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Woods; brothers and sister, Edward Hadley, Robert Hadley, Ted Hadley, and Deloris Emerich; Daughter, Roxanne Williams (Woods) ( survived by grandchildren: Gregg Pinney(Kimberly Pinney, Lily Pinney, Hudson Pinney) , Elizabeth Bates (Joshua Bates, Brody Bates) Brittany Williams(Russell Schreck), Son, Kevin Woods( survived by grandchildren: Carl Woods), and is survived by Brother, Stanley Hadley, Sisters; Barbara Morris and Cathy Nelson, Daughter; Cheryl Woods (grandchildren: Chelsea Smith(Joshua Whaley), Merissa Terebo), Son;Bruce Woods (Evelyn Rogers) (grandchildren: Alina Woods), Daughter; Denise Ainslie (grandchildren: Matthew Ainslie, Heather Bormann,(Logan Bormann, Angelica Bormann, Robert Bormann Jr., Samantha and Marie).

A Celebration of Life, in lieu of services, will be held at the VFW in Sidney, NY Sept 27th, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm. Light beverages and snacks will be available.
