Barbara Ann Johnson, age 82, died peacefully in the evening hours on Monday, August 25, 2025.

She was born in Mount Kisco, New York to Archie Germaine and Marjorie (Pecor) Ogden.

Barbara leaves behind her four daughters: Donna DeCarr (Tim Greene), Brenda Birdsall (Jim), Sarah Applegate (Brian) and Georgia Gonzalez (Joe); and her two sons, Ronald McMullen (Sandy Newkirk) and John Johnson; 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandson. Barbara also leaves behind two brothers, James Germaine and Stephen Rounds, along with one aunt, Connie Leizear, seven nieces and nephews, and several cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Edward McMullen; two grandsons, Anthony Botte and Michael Schermerhorn; and a brother, Ralph Germaine.

Barbara was a fighter to the end, and will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion, 22 Union St. Sidney, NY, on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 1:00-4:00pm.
