Sandra “Sandy” Louise Frewert (née Dibble), 82, of Sidney, NY, passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2025.

Born on March 2, 1943, in Binghamton, NY, Sandy lived a life defined by deep devotion to her family, quiet strength, and a warm heart that made all feel welcome. She was the beloved wife of Frederick Frewert and a devoted mother to four children and two step children: Arthur (wife Cynthia, Rhode Island), Bonnie (New York), Donna (New York), Robert (New York), Frederick Jr. (Puerto Rico), and Kendra (Colorado).

Sandy was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and her love for her grandchildren was evident in every smile and story and time spent with family. Her family was her world, and she poured her heart into caring for them with grace and unwavering dedication.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her quiet humor, and the steady presence she provided to those around her. Whether through her thoughtful conversations or simply the way she listened, Sandy made a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love that lives on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 21st at 3 p.m. at C. H. Landers, Inc. Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandy’s memory to a local hospice organization or charity of choice.

She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
