Jean Carole Schrader, 91, of Otego, passed away on July 31, 2025. She was born to George Louis and Lena Frieda (Eggler) Schrader on November 22, 1933 in Peekskill, NY.

She graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in Montrose, NY. A hard worker, she held various jobs most of her life, retiring as a CNA at Golden Hill Nursing Home in Kingston, NY.

She loved fishing, and in later years enjoyed playing cards and watching tv.

Jean is survived by four children: Karen Egloff of Bainbridge, Sharon Gerety of Red Hook, William See of Kingston and Doreen See of Greenville and three grandchildren: Timothy Day of Catskill, Belinda Egloff of Binghamton and Devon Curran of Greenville, as well as nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on August 22nd at Fellowship Baptist Lighthouse Church in Unadilla, where Jean has been a member since 2009. Burial will be at 1:00pm in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family online at www.landersfh.com.
