Obituary of David Lyle Pratt

David Lyle Pratt, 87, of Unadilla, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. David was born on January 11, 1938 in Center Village, NY, son of the late Bert and Nina (Davidson) Pratt. On July 24, 1971, he was married to Marie Brooks in New Berlin, NY, sharing 53 happy years together. Dave worked for many years as a machinist at Bendix in Sidney. He is survived by his wife, Marie Pratt; 3 children: Jodi Pratt, Kim Pratt and Darla Wormuth; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Wanda and George Deak, Doris Hoag, Nancy and Dan Bliss; brother-in-law, Norm Eastwood; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by his sisters, Joyce and Laura; brothers, Dick and Don; and sister-in-law, Linda Eastwood. At his request, there will be no services. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Mt. Upton, will be private and at the convenience of the family.
