Obituary of Deborah K. Hromada

Please share a memory of Deborah to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
With heavy hearts, yet comforted by her peace, we announce the passing of Deborah – our guiding light, steadfast woman of faith, devoted servant to her community, and beloved matriarch of the Hromada family. On the afternoon of May 1, 2025, Deborah K. Hromada became an angel in our Lord’s choir. She joins her husband, Duane D. Hromada, Sr. in eternal love. To all who knew her, Deborah was a pillar of faith, resilience, compassion, and love. Deborah served her community in many ways, none more important to her than her 32 years as Town Clerk. She found great joy and purpose through her devotion to her church, especially singing in the choir. Her spirit lives on in us who were lucky to know her as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Deborah was loved and will be remembered always by her brother Thomas, (Susannah) children Kimberly, Kelly (Richard), and Duane (Jennifer), her grandchildren Kyle, Katerina (Makalliah), Tyler (Capucine) Samantha, Jack, and Alex, and her great grandchild, Shawn. Her legacy of love and service will long be remembered, and we will all miss her dearly. Until we are reunited in our father’s kingdom, our love for her will remain eternal. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 12 Liberty St. in Sidney, N.Y. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.landersfh.com Flowers can be ordered at Darlene’s Flower World at (607) 316-8276.
