Obituary of Terry L. Yoder

Terry L. Yoder passed away on April 25, 2025, at her home in Unadilla surrounded by those who loved her. Terry was born on October 8, 1959, in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania and has called Unadilla her home for more than 30 years. Terry deeply loved those she left behind - her children, her life partner and her many close and dear friends. Terry had many professional positions over her career. Her most recent and memorable was as Town Clerk for the Town of Unadilla for the past 11 years. She excelled in her elected position where she served, helped and married countless residents over the years. She was known for always "going the extra mile" for any problem a constituent might bring to her office. Terry had many passions, interests and hobbies including home decorating, furniture refinishing, gardening, cooking and entertaining family and friends. She loved her horses and her "happy place" on the hill. She loved shopping but only bought if something was on sale. She had an incredible fashion sense and an affinity for TJ Maxx and shoes. Lots of shoes! She loved karaoke and even though she sang badly she was always unquestionably the star of her own show! Terry didn't want a funeral or service or sadness but rather a party filled with family, friends and good memories of shared times. The date for Terry's Celebration of Life will be announced. We ask that you remember Terry Yoder not only for her beautiful smile but for the way she lived and the profound impact she had on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
