Obituary of Donna Lee Kittle

BAINBRIDGE - Donna L. Kittle, 73, of Bainbridge, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 22, 2025. Donna married the love of her life, Larry Kittle, on November 28, 1970 in Delhi. He predeceased her, as well as her sisters Gloria Filer and Doris Singleton, a brother-in-law Edward Singleton and a sister-in-law Diane Fairbairn. Donna was born on August 3, 1951 to Donald and Anna Filer. She graduated from Sidney Central School in 1969. Following graduation, she worked in banking for some time. Thereafter, she began her career in retail where she worked for Kmart in Sidney for over 20 years. Then she continued her career at Walmart in Norwich, retiring in 2013. Donna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Michael Carlsson of Endwell, NY; her son and daughter-in-law, Corey Kittle and Heather Earl of Afton, NY; her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Arthur Brooks of Afton, NY; brothers-in-law, Fayette Goodrich, Randy (Gloria) Fairbairn, Victor Fairbairn, Alan Fairbairn; and sister-in-law, Tammy Fairbairn; grandchildren, Corey Annemarie Kittle of Sidney, NY, John Carlsson of Maine, NY, Emily Carlsson (Aric Carpenter) of Binghamton, NY; great-grandchildren, Asher Carlsson and Colton Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews. Donna was a hard worker and always put her family first. She was proud of her children and adored their spouses. Everything she did, she did with pride. She was very detail oriented and loved to reminisce about her childhood and family memories. She always had a story to tell. She will forever be missed by all who loved her and by those who were fortunate to know her. Friends are invited to calling hours from 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday, March 8th with services beginning at 2:00pm at C.H Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street, Sidney.
