Lynn R. Wilcox, Jr, 66, of Unadilla, NY, passed away to be with the Lord on February 1, 2025 at Wilson Hospital. Lynn was born in New Berlin, NY to Lynn Robert Wilcox, Sr. and Roberta Mae Greene Wilcox on August 27, 1958. He graduated from Sherburne-Earlville High School and immediately got into land surveying. He also received heating, air conditioning and refrigeration education. Lynn served as the Flood Control Officer for Unadilla, NY for many years. Lynn loved to fish, hunt, woodworking, and help with maintenance at their park (MVP), but most of all he enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Dawn; daughter, Jessica (Jeff) Tanner of Tennessee; son, Thomas Heaney of New Jersey; brother, Ted (Bev) Wilcox of Sherburne; grandchildren: Landon, Jayden, Ryder, Colton and Natalie; nieces, Alicia Cruz, Salina Morre, and Megan Wright; father-in-law, Dale (Julie) Winans of Sidney Center; as well as several grandnieces and nephews; and dear friend Bill Fischetti of Masonville. Calling hours will be held on March 15, 2025 from 1:00-3:00pm at the C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, NY. A memorial service will begin at 3:00pm. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
