Blanche E. Reigles

Blanche Elizabeth Reigles, 91 of Sidney, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening, June 15, 2010 at Tri Town Regional Hospital in Sidney. Elizabeth was born on March 6, 1919 in Tompkins, NY. She was married to William Allen Reigles, who predeceased her in 1969. Blanche loved her soaps, Oprah and Jerry Springer. Her greatest joy, however, was caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Blanche was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by:

Roy Reigles of Sidney

Joseph Reigles and Sonya John of Franklin

Mothers of her grandchildren, Lori Lane of Hancock and Linda Crisell of Unadilla

6 Grandchildren: Stephen, James, Deborah, Nathan, Stacy and Alan

7 Great-grandchildren

Her brother, Bill Gilbert of Walton

In addition to her parents and husband, Blanche was predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters.

Friends are invited to call on Monday, June 21, 2010 from 10:00am until 12:00noon at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main Street Sidney, NY 13838. Funeral services will follow at 12:00noon at the funeral chapel with Rev. Benjamin Shaw officiating. Burial will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney.
