William H. Kane

William H. Kane 70 of Unadilla passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Tri-town Regional Hospital in Sidney. He was born February 2, 1939, son of the late James and Jennie (Becker) Kane in Unadilla. Bill married Joann Jennings on May 2, 1965. He was employed by Amphenol Corp. in Sidney. He retired in 2001. This allowed him more time to paint; Bill had also worked as a local painter since he was 16.

He is survived by:

Loving wife - Joann Kane, Unadilla

Daughter and son-in-law - Star and Brian Hedman, Sidney

Son - Matthew Kane, Unadilla

Brother and sister-in-law - Willis and Leona Kane, AZ

Sister and brother-in-law -Evelyn and Mahlon Young, Unadilla

And his beloved Dog, Cuddles

Several nieces, nephews and cousins

He was predeceased by 2 Brothers, James and Walter and 2 Sisters, Annabelle and Mary Ellen.

Friends may call Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Circle Drive Alliance Church in Sidney.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bob Goldenberg officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Valley Humane Society 101 East Main St. Sidney. Condolences made be made to the family online at www.landersfh.com.
