Sue, Steph, Mary Lou and families: This is so hard to believe. There are no words to express our heartfelt sorrow for all of you. Please know that you are not alone during this time as several others are thinking and praying for all of you. Just for putting up with so many youngsters in gym classes she deserves her wings-how did she manage it for so many years? We love you all

Mrs. Flathers was a sweet and wonderful lady. Although my last visit with her was a year ago in Florida, I can still remember our conversation. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

We will always remember the fun times we had playing cards and eating out. Carolyn was a wonderful mother and friend. We will always remember her beautiful smile, her blue eyes and her beautiful white hair. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

Our condolences go out to Carolyn's family and she will surely be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her, and being in her company. Many memories of our travels together, our card playing, and our time spent, will remain in our hearts forever. She was indeed a special lady.

My sympathy to Mary Lou, Susan, Stephanie, and families. My memories of Carolyn are of the women's relay canoe racing days. She and I paddled together in a couple of races, including a night race where everyone ran into us. They were blinded by our lantern. Rest in peace, Carolyn, I'll never forget you!
So sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. May your happy memories of times spent together bring comfort to you in the weeks to come. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Pat and I were just really getting to know Carolyn. We thought the world of her. We played golf together every MOnday in Florida. Carolyn called it fluke golf, for whenever we had a good round it must have been a fluke. We had a good time. We admired her values and her love of family and friends. She wanted to see her grandson, graduate from the U.S. Marines. We talked about it on the golf course. She was very, very proud of him. We meet many people in our lifetime, but some stand out above the rest, Carolyn was one of them. We were very privledged to have Carolyn as a true gift from God. Till we meet again. Friends forever, Love Pat & wendy

I will always remember sitting at the dining table talking with Carolyn when I went to collect my money for the paper I delivered to her. She was a great lady.
