Obituary of Lorin D. Hartwell

Lorin D. Hartwell, 73 of Greene, NY, passed away on November 9, 2015 at the New York State Veterans Home in Oxford, NY. Lorin was born on April 6, 1942, son of the late Leon and Louise (Styles) Hartwell in Mt. Upton, NY. Lorin served in the US Navy honorably from 1959-1961. He had worked for Crane Silos and was employed by Raymond Corporation in Greene, when he retired. Lorin was a past member of the Bainbridge Fire Department and the Norwich Moose Lodge Lorin is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children, Barbara Bowker, Mt. Upton; Daughter, Beverly Sowersby (Scott Cleaveland), Oneonta, NY; Sons, Donnie Hartwell, Bainbridge, NY and David Hartwell (Susan Brown), Westmoreland, NY; grandchildren, Cierra and Kris Stafford, Ashley Hartwell, Michael Hartwell, Zachary Hartwell, Hunter Sowersby and Caleb Hartwell. Brothers, Stanley Hartwell, Gerald (Kitty) Hartwell, Kenneth (Duff) Hartwell And special friends Larry and Nancy Felter He was also predeceased by sister, Beverly Hartwell Friends may call Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 6-8 PM at C.H.
