John Boice Sidney Center, NY John Boice 72 of Sidney Center passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at AO Fox Hospital in Oneonta. He was born August 18, 1943, son of the late John and Hattie (Fletcher) Boice in Walton. John married Ruth Alger on December 12, 1964 in Walton, she predeceased him on December 28, 2006. Johnny was employed by Borden's Chemical Co in Bainbridge for over 39 years, prior to closing and worked at Keith Clark in the shipping dept when he retired. He was an associate member of the Sidney Center Fire Dept. and was a past member of the Sidney Moose. Johnny was also a member of the Sidney Center Rod and Gun Club. He is survived by, 4 sons John "Buzzy" and Deb Boice, Walton Troy and Sally Boice, Homer Darrin and Selinda Boice, Sidney Center Ted and Lisa Boice of Unadilla 9 Grandchildren, Jared, Austin, Ashley, Payten, Macy, Sierra, Parker, Tyler and Tanner 4 great grandchildren, Karter, Madox, Paisley and Wesley Brother, Marshall Boice Sisters Carolyn and Don Robb Elsie Birtch Several nieces, nephews and cousins Friends may call Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 5-8 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel Sidney Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 7, at 11:00 AM in the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Hambletville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sidney Center Fire Dept. Auxiallary.
