Mildred K. Ellison Afton, NY Mildred K. Ellison 75 of Afton passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich. She was born July 6, 1939 daughter of the late Clarence and Grace (Brannan)Hall in Delhi. Mildred married Vern Joslin, and together had five children He predeceased her. She had worked at Amphenol in Sidney and as a teller in local banks, and primarily was a child care provider at her home and for the Cullman Center in Sidney. Mildred was a member of the Otsego County Grange and loved to sew and bake. She is survived by: Her husband, Edward Ellison, Afton Children, Nancy, David, Gary, Vern and Penny. Brother, David Hall Numerous Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her sister Sandra Merwin. Friends may call Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 22, at 11:00 AM at the funeral chapel with Rev. Benjamin Shaw officiating.
